Mission:
- To make a positive contribution to our
learning community
- To promote the professional and personal
growth of our members
MSEA
Objectives:
- To influence the
conditions under which prospective teachers are prepared to permit
maximum professional competence;
- To develop in education
students an understanding of and appreciation for the education
profession and the role of the professional education association in
behalf of advancing education;
- To promote the highest
ideals of professional ethics, standards, attitudes, and training;
- To provide for education
students a national, state, and local voice in matters affecting their
education and the profession;
- To inform students about the policies
and procedures related to licensing and teaching practices
- To provide cocurricular
opportunities for education students to gain a better understanding of
the knowledge, skills and dispositions required of a teacher
- To raise funds for student
scholarships and school charities.

- To increase membership
(target number: 65)
- To get more members to
attend meetings and get actively involved in MSEA activities.
- To be more involved in community service (classroom
reading, on campus activities, boy/girl scout)
